2024 ONA Annual Convention

September 25-26, 2024

 Register Here!

The Oklahoma Nurses Association is delighted to announce the 2024 ONA Annual Convention, taking place September 25 - 26, 2024, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Tulsa - Warren Place in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Our goal for this event is to support nurses as they innovate and advocate for themselves, their work environments, the profession, and their patients. Nurses demonstrate innovation whenever they develop workarounds, create new methods, or propose solutions to existing problems. Advocacy, both for patients and for themselves, is crucial, whether in the workplace or with policymakers. We will explore these vital nursing roles, along with other important issues facing the profession.

Nurses: Innovate & Advocate will have two full days of sessions featuring both national and local speakers. The schedule at a glance is available below. Our keynote sessions will delve into effective advocacy, strategies for supporting nurses in their innovative efforts, and tips for successfully pitching new ideas.

Don't miss out on Early Bird Registration ending on July 31, 2024! Register today!

Why Attend?

"Networking and education are the lifeblood of nursing. We cannot make change working alone. Learning where we can make a difference and how to affect change are crucial in our profession. Convention can help create awareness and offer solutions for change."

Cara Gonzales, MSN, RN

"Convention is a way to learn new ideas, new techniques, and meet new people. It's also a way to gain new insight into what may be coming into healthcare from other perspectives."

Beverly Felton, MSN, RN

"The convention raises awareness on topics trending within our profession and allows nursing students and professionals to engage at a variety of levels. The more they engage… The more energized, we feel… And the more powerful we become. I would love for Oklahoma to become one of the power house states leading the way for other states to follow as we continue to elevate the profession. The pandemic is behind us, and now we need to all plug back in at some capacity and get back to work. If every nurse and student nurse engage at any level… OK Nurses will be unstoppable and will be the frontiers for others to take note and follow."
