The Nurse of the Day Program gives you the opportunity to get involved in the legislative process by visiting with legislators, attending various committee meetings and assisting in the First Aid station at the State Capitol. Legislators don't always know what nurses really face and how their decisions directly affect real people - That means you and your patients. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to provide policymakers with first-hand information that will help them be better informed as they work to shape legislation for the state of Oklahoma.
